Abstract
We present an algorithm to determine the realization of matrices in SL_2 over a multivariate Laurant polynomial ring . For this we have to generalize Park's algorithm. Furthermore, we extend this algorithm to some specific matrices in SL_3. To illustrate our results, some examples are studied using special software which implements the proposed algorithms.
