Abstract

The article analyzes the possibility of determining the degree of soil contamination with hydrocarbons by assessing the chlorophyll content in the plant. The problem of joint assessment of soil pollution based on the chlorophyll content in the leaves and crowns of plants has been formulated and solved. Formulas were obtained for calculating the total content of petroleum hydrocarbons depending on the amount of chlorophyll in the leaves and crown of the plant, as well as for calculating the unevenness of soil pollution between two given points of the soil covered with plants.
