Abstract

In the article a number of practical problems that arise when teaching schoolchildren within the framework of the stochastic content line are considered. The content of the bank of tasks on the probability theory proposed to prepare schoolchildren to the final certification is analyzed. The difficulties arising among schoolchildren in the course of solving of probabilistic problems are highlighted. The tasks, the feasibility of using which in the educational process is obvious, are noted. Examples of tasks the formulations of which need to be adjusted are given. Questions that reflect the essence of the problems discussed are formulated: what problems in probability theory schoolchildren need (what to teach); which textbooks should be used to teach schoolchildren probability theory (on the basis of what to teach); how to prepare a teacher to teach schoolchildren probability theory (who to teach)? Approaches that provide a partial solution to the identified problems are proposed.
