Abstract
Classroom leading-in is an important part of classroom teaching procedure. Successful classroom leading-in has a great influence on improving students' interest in learning and thus improving the effectiveness of English classroom teaching. This paper discusses the ways and functions of English classroom leading-in and the problems that should be paid attention to in order to improve the teaching level and ability of English teachers and achieve twice the result with half the effort.
