Abstract

AbstractGeometrical‐optics syntheses of shaped reflector antennas yield numerically defined surfaces that must be interpolated for subsequent evaluation of the radiation field and its check against design specifications. The implementation of three global interpolating functions is explored in connection with a typical dual‐shaped offset reflector antenna designed to produce a collimated beam with high efjkiency and low side‐lobe envelope. © 1994 John Wiley & Sons, Inc.
