Abstract
The article attempts to highlight the importance, tasks, factors and modern problems of effective implementation of the state policy for the development of special economic zones in the formation and strengthening of the financial potential of the regions. Features and objectives of the application of its effective tools and methods are based on the world experience in the development of the financial potential of the region on the basis of ensuring the operation of special economic zones and the experience of modern trends characteristic of this mechanism.The directions for the development of the financial potential of the region in the perspective of the socio-economic development of the Republic of Uzbekistan until 2030 on the basis of ensuring the operation of special economic zones are substantiated
