Abstract
Abstract The research on the behaviour of various types of double-contact junctions between weakly connected superconductors has been extended by developing junctions with a better defined area between the weak contacts. Both voltage and critical current oscillations have been measured. Furthermore, special attention has been paid to double contact junctions with relatively small self-inductances in order to obtain larger amplitudes for both critical current and voltage oscillations. For such junctions a three dimensional diagram is constructed showing a corrugated surface for the relationship between current, voltage and magnetic field. The temperature dependence of the critical current oscillations is measured for Sn-Nb junctions.
