Abstract

The article sets out the general provisions resulting from the analysis of the dynamics of class categories in the Budukh, Kryz languages – components of the South Lezghin subgroup, and the Rutul and Tsakhur languages – components of the West Lezghin subgroup of the Lezghin group of the North Caucasian language family with the aim of clarifying the diachronic scenarios and prospects of development of the category class.
