Abstract
High export indicators in the structure of foreign economic activity are a characteristic feature of the Russian economy. In modern conditions, the economy remains open, but massive international sanctions create serious barriers to foreign economic activity. Exporters are forced to develop new markets, build new logistic chains, therefore the state support for exports is of particular importance, the issues of functioning and development of the other are investigated in the article. The authors emphasize the urgency of the development of Russia’s foreign economic relations, characterize the dynamics and structure of Russia’s foreign trade, describe the established system of the state support for exports. The article also focuses on the most interesting practical tools for supporting exports, used in various subjects of the Russian Federation. Features of the Irkutsk region as one of the leading export-oriented regions are distinguished. On the example of the Irkutsk region, the authors consider the formation and functioning of export support infrastructure, paying particular attention to the support of export activities of the small and medium-sized enterprise sector. In conclusion, the authors propose a number of measures to develop state support for exports in Russia.
