Abstract

Our proposal of a novel barrier model for fluctuation-induced tunneling in highly conductive polyacetylene is shown to be in good agreement with recent TEM observations of single doped N - (CH) x-fibrils. This allows a more detailed discussion of the conduction mechanism. A revised version of the theory is presented.
