Abstract

Different approaches to the author presence forms in old Rus’ chronicles of early period are considered. Possibility of chroniclers’ consciousness explication in the text and separation the fragments, written by the same author, are discussed. Examples of chroniclers’ marks expressions by different means, as well as cases of steady statements addition are given. Typological similarities and differences of various traditions’ narrative strategies are noted. It is concluded, that author presence forms are important both for historiographical traditions and separate texts studies.
