Abstract
The lexicon of the Even language is extremely understudied. The choice of the topic of this paper is conditioned by the necessity to cover the undeveloped issues on synonyms of Even language with regard to their sources; semantic and typological features. The present work is devoted to the study of stylistic synonymy in the Even language.
 Purpose. To identify the resources of stylistic synonymy, highlight stylistic and semantic-stylistic synonyms, as well as define their features.
 Materials and methods. The research is based on the descriptive method, the techniques of linguistic observation, generalisation and interpretation are used. The source of the study is the "Even-Russian dictionary" by V.A. Robbek, M.E.
 Robbek.
 Results. The paper is the first to define and distribute words with stylistic meaning as well as to single out the type of semantic-stylistic synonyms and to give a description of stylistic synonyms in the Even language. The sources of these types of synonyms are words of dialect, folklore, ritual and colloquial lexicon.
 Practical implications. The results of the work can be applied in researches on the languages of the Manchu-Tungus peoples.
