Abstract
The article presents the materials for the analytical determination of the flight speed of the shot during pneumatic shot blasting, when the main regime parameter is the pressure of compressed air, which makes it possible to interrelate the technological parameters in the shot hardening of machine parts and reasonably evaluate the state of the surface layer through the energy criterion.
