Abstract
The article is of a practical nature. The article presents the experience of organizing cognitive activities of students of mathematics, future teachers, in solving problems of elementary geometry of increased difficulty. Olympiad geometric problems for the 8th grade of the regional Olympiad level have been selected as tasks. Work with such tasks takes place on the basis of basic planimetric tasks that are presented to students when organizing the repetition of school mathematics. Статья имеет практический характер. Представлен опыт организации познавательной деятельности студентов-математиков, будущих педагогов, при решении задач элементарной геометрии повышенной трудности. В качестве задач выбраны олимпиадные геометрические задачи для 8 класса уровня региональной олимпиады. Работа с такими задачами происходит на основе опорных планиметрических задач, которые предъявляются студентам при организации повторения школьной математики.
