Abstract
The problem of the possible dependence of the quasibiennial oscillations of the circulation upon solar activity based on the monthly mean zonal winds (ms−I) at the 30 km altitude from the data of equatorial stations Ascension Is. and Fort Sherman during the period of I958-I979 is discussed.
