Abstract
A polynomial that permutes the elements of a finite ring R is known as a permutation polynomial. The conditions for the coefficients of a polynomial of degree d to be a permutation polynomial modulo pn, are known for p = 2, 3, 5. In this paper, we obtain the necessary and sufficient conditions on the coefficients of a polynomial modulo 7n to be a permutation polynomial.
