Abstract
In this paper, we consider one of the variants of the Verhulst-Pearl model, which takes into account the limited lifetime of individuals in a population. Conditions are formulated under which the population size will be described by integral-differential equations with delay. A new generalized model has been constructed. The results established in the article show that the generalized model is a natural generalization of the classical model under the assumption that individuals in a population have a limited lifetime.
