Abstract

In this paper, nonuniform partial transmit sequences (NPTS) method has been proposed, for peak to average power ratio (PAPR) reduction in OFDM systems. Pilot assisted compressed sensing (CS) based channel estimation has been utilized jointly with the proposed PAPR reduction method to avoid sending any side information. CS recovery algorithms such as orthogonal matching pursuit are used for estimation of the channel taps. Simulation results demonstrate that the proposed technique decreases the PAPR of OFDM systems and has accurate channel estimation.
