Abstract
Abstract A simple model for the free induction decay (FID) in a spin system with three-spin interactions is proposed. It is shown that the NMR line shape is asymmetric. The initial part of the FID obeys a Gaussian law and its “tail” is exponential. A good agreement with the experimental data of Mefyod [Pis'ma Zh. Eksp. Teor. Fiz. 55 (1992) 412] is obtained.
