Abstract
In this paper a very general basic theorem of complementarity for the generalized variational-like inequality problem is established. The main result (Theorem 3.1) not only unifies but also extends basic theorems of complementarity obtained in the literature. The main tool in this paper is a very recent result of Cubiotti and Yao. Applications to generalized complementarity problems and generalized quasi-variational inequalities are given and many interesting and nice results are obtained.
