Abstract
The article examines the interplay between praxis and corporate theory in Oliveira Vianna, based on the analysis of the legal opinion "Organização Syndical" and the ideas presented in the book "Problemas de Direito Sindical." Ultimately, it is observed that both the concepts of Brazilian social formation underpin the writing of the legal opinion, and conversely, the legal opinion plays a determinative role in shaping the ideas presented in the book.
