Abstract

No presente artigo pretende-se analisar o romance O Trigo e o Joio (1954) de Fernando Namora na base do aparelho metodológico proveniente dos Estudos Animais. Conceitos ligados com esta disciplina emergente permitem investigar as (inter)relações entre os protagonistas humanos e o(s) animal(is) no romance, assinalar as relações de poder, como também indicar as possíveis saídas da realidade opressora do Alentejo retratado no romance.
