Abstract

The world’s population is aging and yet, across the globe, older adults remain a vulnerable group. Poverty, housing, health concerns, and critical supports are among the challenges impacting older people. The recent Covid-19 pandemic underscored the tenuous position of older adults and the extent to which disparities threaten their human rights. Social work involvement at all levels can play a major role in assuring the rights of older adults in inclusive socially just societies.
