Abstract
In the past decades, the oil absorptive polymers with three-dimensional cross-linked network have attracted the attention of scientists and engineers due to their potential use in oil pollution treatment. Till now, however, the published literature is quietly limited. Herein, the progress in oil absorptive polymers is firstly reviewed, with an emphasis on the influence of monomers on the absorption properties. At the end of this minireview, we made a discussion on the topic: Where is the future of oil absorptive polymers?
