Abstract
In this paper we systematically investigate the mechanism of enhanced Fowler-Nordheim injection in a MOS capacitor under accumulation when a film of off-stochiometric silicon oxide is deposited between the polygate and the thermal silicon dioxide. Experimental results prompt for application in low-voltage Flash memories.
