Abstract
The off-center of a Cu1 ion in a NaBr:Cu+ system is directly confirmed. One of the off-center parameters, an off-center distance, is analyzed from the observed Cu-Br distance. A preferential off-center direction is along <111> axes. It is suggested that the cage consisting of 6 Br- ions is deformed.
