Abstract
AbstractA simple and effective method to control the asymmetric spin splitting flexibly by introducing off‐axis vortex beams is reported here. Unlike the conventional spin Hall effect of light, both the value and the sign of the right‐ and left‐handed circularly polarized components can be manipulated individually by modulating the off‐axis vortex's position. Significantly, the in‐plane shifts occur when the vortex position x0 is non‐zero. In addition, it is found that this asymmetric splitting increases with increase in the topological charge. This flexibly adjustable asymmetric spin splitting provides the possibility to accelerate the development of nano‐photonic devices.
