Abstract
The Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD) Statistics Directorate launched the Entrepreneurship Indicators Programme (EIP), which is developing internationally comparable entrepreneurship indicators. The EIP seeks to engage the various bodies involved in producing entrepreneurship-related data in a cooperative effort to harmonize definitions and produce comparable data. Eurostat, the statistical agency of the European Commission, has now formally joined the programme and is sharing in the work.
