Abstract

With the end of the German occupation of Poland, a new period regarding the functioning of the Polish underground began. One of the elements characteristic of this time was the creation of the so-called Home Army (Armia Krajowa) selfdefence units. One such unit, codenamed „Szerszeń” and commanded by second lieutenant/lieutenant Feliks Perekładowski „Przyjaciel” operated in Podhale during the spring and summer of 1945.
