Abstract

Ocular and adnexal lymphoma are a rare presentation of non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma (NHL). Radiation treatment particularly for ocular and adnexal lymphomas is technically challenging, because effort is made to prevent collateral damage to surrounding structures without compromising local control. Various studies have shown primary orbital lymphomas respond well to radiotherapy with an excellent local control rate (95–98%). The advantages of the radiotherapy treatment are a high-local control rate and durable disease-free status. Carefully planned radiation treatment for ocular and adnexal lymphoma is well tolerated by patients and without any sight threatening local complications. In this chapter, we will describe indications and various techniques available to deliver precise radiation for ocular and adnexal lymphoma.
