Abstract

The pandemic caused by SARS-CoV-2 virus and COVID-19 disease, which has beeb prevailing since first quarter of 2020, is relevant to many different factors in life. As a result of the restrictions introduced, the quality and frequency of communication have changed. The purpose of research analysis was to observe the relationship between the frequency and quality of communication and life satisfaction and a loneliness during the pandemic. Two hundred fifteen people took part in research. We used two scales: SWLS and DJGLS and scale assess the quality and frequency of communication. Our results showed that the frequency of communication is important for both life satisfaction and loneliness. However, in the case of life satisfaction, the assessment of the frequency of communication is significant among people who did not experience derteriorantion of communication in situation of its limitations. In case of loneliness, the assessment of frequency of contacts was important among people who felt the deterioration of communication with other people.
