Abstract

The work in oceanography in British Columbia during 1935 was largely centered in the activities of the Biological Board of Canada at the two main stations, Nanaimo and Prince Rupert, and several subsidiary field‐stations for carrying on special investigations. Cooperating with the Biological Board and contributing to these activities, the University of British Columbia, the Hydrographic Service, the Meteorological Service of Canada, and the Naval Service of Canada may be specifically mentioned. There were 18 members of the regular staff of the Board and 12 voluntary workers during the year. Outside of the Province, several others have contributed by working on material or data supplied from this coast. During the year 68 papers were published.
