Abstract
Background: Nowadays the exposure to Ethylene Oxide (EO) is extremely rare thanks to the advent of personal protective equipment (PPE). This substance is a gas used to clean surgical material and operation room. The signs of acute intoxication can be dermatological lesions, cyanosis, dyspnea and loss of consciousness.
