Abstract

The electric explosion of nickel-containing conductors is experimentally studied for the optimum mode in air. The results of explosion of conductors in air and in water are compared. It is shown that explosion in air of conductors completely identical to those exploded in water leads to a change in the discharge duty. The conditions required for the optimum mode of explosion of conductors in air are determined.
