Abstract

This article discusses the issue of developing techniques for determining characteristics of the fluid flow through the porous structure of the sorbent under the action of pressure difference. An experimental study of the characteristics of the flow through a porous medium was carried out using the example of the separation of chemical structures using a sorbent in Enzymax standard Mini Spin Column cells, which are widely used in laboratories. The study is conducted using an experimental vacuum separation unit. As a result, the dependences of the flow rate on the pressure difference for the four standard cells of the vacuum separation units were obtained. The technique of carrying out the experiment, data processing and obtaining the resistance and permeability coefficients is presented. The permeability coefficients for standard cells of vacuum separation units are determined.
