Abstract

The study aimed to identify the obstacles to scientific research ‎from the point of view of students pursuing a master's degree in ‎educational administration at Omani universities. The study ‎utilized a descriptive approach. A questionnaire with 24 items ‎was created. It was tested for validity and reliability before ‎being used on 145 students. The results of the study indicated ‎that, from the perspective of master's students in educational ‎administration at Omani universities, the obstacles to scientific ‎research were "significant". Obstacles related to educational ‎administration students ranked first, while obstacles related to ‎faculty members ranked last. The results of the study also ‎revealed that there were no statistically significant differences ‎due to the variables of gender and the type of study sabbatical. ‎Considering the previous results, the study recommended the ‎implementation of training courses to train students on research ‎skills in local and global electronic databases, reduce teaching ‎and administrative burdens on faculty members and provide ‎material and moral incentives for scientific research.‎ ‎(Keywords: Omani Universities, Obstacles, Master's Students, ‎Educational Administration)‎
