Abstract

Synthesis of an observer-based switched control scheme is considered for switched linear system with average dwell time (ADT). The control scheme consists of a switching observer-based control law and a supervisor enforcing a reset rule for the switching controller states at each switching instant. Solvability conditions based on linear matrix inequalities are presented for the existence of such a switched control scheme to guarantee globally uniformly asymptotically stability (GUAS). Finally, a numerical example is given to show the validity of the developed results.
