Abstract
This brief is concerned with the problem of observed-based asynchronous control for a class of semi-Markov jump systems (SMJSs) in continuous-time domain. There exists an asynchronous phenomenon between the system modes and the controller modes due to the limitations of the actual environment. System modes and controller modes are usually described as hidden modes and observable modes, respectively. Their relationship can be exhibited by emission probabilities. In this brief, a hidden semi-Markov model is used to describe such phenomenon. A conventional approach is employed and an improved result is derived to solve observed-based control problem. Based on a common Lyapunov function, an observed-based asynchronous control law depending on the observable mode is synthesized to ensure the stochastic stability of the closed-loop system. Finally, a practical RLC circuit system example is provided to illustrate the effectiveness and merits of the proposed methods.
