Abstract
Specimens were collected in the Bedford district and adjoining areas. A method of hunting lynxes with a pack of hounds is described. Data collected from 108 specimens over a period of 34 years are analysed. Various aspects of the biology are dealt with, including mass and length, killing and feeding habits, breeding and litters, and lynx-jackal relationships.
