Abstract
Abstract Some observations, made while participating in a flight program of cloud physics research in over-water trade-wind cumuli, are offered. Cloud-top growth rates of over-water trade-wind cumuli, computed from time-lapse photographs, are presented and shown to be appreciably less than growth rates for cumuli over the United States.
