Abstract

Selected beverage preferences were studied among 310 college students during a regular semester and a final examination period. Cola-type drinks and milk were preferred by most of the men and women students. Hot beverages were least preferred with meals. Restricted beverage choices were observed during examinations rather than during the regular semester. Men selected a larger number of servings for most of the beverages than women. Significantly more students of both sexes chose cola-type beverages during examinations.
