Abstract The frequencies of the fine and hyperfine structure components of several electric and magnetic dipole transitions in the ground state of NHD in the range 4-12 GHz have been measured using microwave optical double resonance. The transition 1(10)-1(11) near 73 GHz has also been detected. The latter transition in particular has important implications for the detection of NHD in the interstellar gas clouds.
