Abstract
Objective To observe the clinical curative effect of Liyao granule for treatment of damp-heat syndrome type lumber intervertebral disc protrusion.Methods Totally 60 patients with dampheat syndrome type lumber intervertebral disc protrusion were randomly divided into two groups:treatment group (Liyao granule plus foundation therapy,n=30) and control group (Fenbid plus foundation therapy,n=30).After two courses of treatment,VAS score and general clinical efficacy were observed.Result Compared with the treatment before,after 2 courses of treatment,VAS score of two groups were decreased (P＜0.01); the general efficacy of treatment group and control group were 86.7％ and 90％ respectively; however,there was no significant statistical difference between two groups in VAS score and general efficacy (P＞0.05).Conclusion Liyao granule has short-term analgesic effect on damp-heat syndrome type lumber intervertebral disc protrusion,the same as Fenbid.
