Abstract
Hadronic jets have been observed in high multiplicity central interactions of (4.1–4.5) A GeV/ c 22 Ne+ Ag( Br) and 28 Si+ Ag( Br) collisions. These jets are consistent with a new mechanism of hadron emission as a consequence of Cherenkov gluon radiation or more generally of deconfinement radiation.
