Abstract

Relativistically invariant description of multiple particle processes in the relative 4-velocity space is suggested. The main regularities of multiple particle processes, i.e. the correlation depletion principle of automodelity and intermediate asymptotics are generally formulated within the considered approach. The method based on new variables allows to give a relativistically invariant description of asymptotic properties of the excited hadron and nuclear matter at high energies (hadron jets, clusters, scale invariance, limiting fragmentation etc.). Large experimental material including hadron-hadron, hadron-nucleus, nucleus-nucleus and νN interactions within an energy of P = 4–205 GeV/c is analysing. The results obtained prove the truthfulness of main consequences of correlation depletion and automodelity principles.
