Abstract
The observations stated in this article focus on the composition of the word lists and the way of organizing the lexical material in some German-Romanian dictionaries from the 19th century. On the one hand, we analyse the role of German-Romanian dictionaries in putting into circulation and popularizing in Romanian a large number of Latin-Romanic neologisms. On the other hand, we focus on their different ways of organizing the dispersed lexical material by the separate registration of the polysemantic, or concentrated word meanings, by including words from an entire lexical family in the same lexicographic article.
