Abstract

The paper presents the compound adjectives in Services for the Prophet Elijah in Eastern Slavic and South Slavic Manuscripts (Menaia) of the 11th – 15th century in comparison with adjectives in other Services in early Slavic Menaia in the context of textologic information. The lexical material contains three Indexes: Slavic-Greek and Greek-Slavic Index of Compound Adjectives in Services for the Prophet Elijah and also Greek – Slavic Index of lexemes (mainly attested Slavic correlations including compound adjectives and more rarely substantives and participles) in different Services with pieces of evidence from Hymns for the Prophet Elijah in early Slavic Menaia. Some archaic, rare, and unusual words are indicated.
