Abstract
B.L.U.F. (Bottom Line Up Front) Oblique Impact uses normal (aligned by the center of particles) and tangential coordinates. Tangential velocity remains constant for each particle. Conservation of momentum is applied in the normal direction as if it were a direct impact problem. Coefficient of Restitution in the normal direction is: \(K{E_1}\, + \,P{E_1}\, + \,{U_{1 \to 2}}\, = \,K{E_2}\, + \,P{E_2}.\)
