Abstract

Spinal cord stimulation (SCS) has proven to be an effective therapy for chronic pain [1], [2]. ECAP-controlled (evoked compound action potential) closed-loop SCS measures and responds to neural activation [3]. ECAP-controlled SCS has previously demonstrated more consistent activation of the spinal cord and correspondingly superior pain relief in patients as compared to traditional ‘open-loop’ SCS [3]. Here, preliminary results of the multi-center data collection study (Data release) from 5 centers in the Netherlands are presented (Netherlands Trial Register, ID: NL7889).
