Abstract
In “Os tres homens e o boi dos tres homens que inventaram um boi “ (The three men and the ox from the three men who had invented an ox), short story - as all stories from Tutameia – Joao Guimaraes Rosa, besides focusing at the folkloric and decanted the ox subject, argues about the relation between the man and the time, beyond such inexorabilities it remains, only, to create throughout the language, an imaginary universe - as well as literature - capable to become a relieve to its creator.
